It’s no secret that a large number of motorists prefer XS cars. Let’s remember what the history of the idea of a mini-car is.

Peel P50

In 1962, this micro-car, weighing only 59 kg, was produced in a limited edition (47 copies) in England. The car made a splash at the annual auto show. Such a baby was designed for the same miniature driver. The car did not have a reverse gear and was equipped with only one headlight. The declared speed of 64 km / h was achieved with difficulty. The unit hissed and crackled when cornering. However, all these horrors did not prevent the admiration of the public. This is how the idea of a minor, lightweight, cheap car for the city was born.
