Brütsch Mopetta
Initially, this car was planned as a toy copy of Maserati for entertainment and games for children of wealthy parents. However, the scaled-down model was not popular at all. Therefore, in 1956, Egon Brütsch decided to convert the toy into a real mini-car and present it at the motor show. The car was seriously interested in the famous Georg von Opel, who even wanted to sell it. Among the innovations – the vehicle was equipped with a front handle for easy transportation by hand (only 89 kg!). This monster started up the old-fashioned way – with a cord.
